Policies & Client Guidelines

At Edge Brows, every service is performed with precision, safety, and intention. To ensure the best results and a smooth experience for every client, please review the following policies and pre-appointment guidelines carefully.

Payments

We accept cash, Zelle, Venmo, and all major credit or debit cards. The remaining balance for your service is due at the time of your appointment.

Booking Fee

A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your appointment. This fee will be applied toward your total service cost.

Rescheduling & No-Shows

Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 72 hours notice. Reschedules within 72 hours, cancellations, or no-shows will result in forfeiture of your booking fee. A new booking fee will be required to rebook.

Late Arrivals

We respect every client’s scheduled time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment will be considered a no-show and your booking fee will be forfeited.

No Guests/Pets

For safety, sanitation, and liability purposes, additional guests and pets are not permitted. Service animals are welcome.

All service pricing is subject to change at the artist’s discretion.

Permanent Makeup (PMU) Pre-Care & Eligibility

Permanent makeup is a cosmetic tattoo procedure that requires proper preparation and candidacy. Not all clients are eligible for treatment.

Contraindications (Cannot Be Serviced)

You are not eligible for PMU services if you:

  • Are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation
  • Have active skin infections, open wounds, or irritation in the treatment area
  • Have a history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring
  • Have uncontrolled diabetes
  • Are currently taking Accutane (within the past 6–12 months)
  • Have a contagious illness or condition
  • Have recently had Botox or fillers in the treatment area (must wait minimum 2 weeks)

Medical Conditions Requiring Clearance

You may require physician approval prior to booking if you:

  • Are on blood thinners
  • Have autoimmune disorders
  • Have epilepsy or seizure disorders
  • Have heart conditions or are on related medications
  • Are prone to slow healing or infection

Please disclose all medical conditions during booking.

Pre-Appointment Guidelines

To ensure optimal results:

  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine 24 hours before your appointment
  • Avoid blood thinners (ibuprofen, aspirin, fish oil) 24–48 hours prior
  • Do not tan or have sunburn in the treatment area
  • Avoid facials, chemical peels, or exfoliation 1 week prior
  • Avoid waxing or threading the area at least 3 days before
  • Come with minimal makeup on the treatment area

What to Expect

  • Results are a two-step process. A touch-up session is required 6–8 weeks after your initial appointment
  • Brows will appear darker and more defined immediately after the procedure
  • Color will soften and lighten by approximately 30–40% during healing
  • Full healing takes up to 4–6 weeks

Healing & Aftercare Responsibility

Proper aftercare is critical for healed results.

Failure to follow aftercare instructions may result in:

  • Poor retention
  • Uneven healing
  • Need for additional touch-ups (additional fees may apply)
