THE EDGE BROWS STORY
Edge Brows was founded in San Francisco in 2017 by master artist and instructor, Diana Kang. Her journey into semi-permanent makeup began after a disappointing brow appointment sparked her determination to raise industry standards. With her newborn daughter in tow, Diana traveled across the globe—training in South Korea, China, and Los Angeles—to refine her skills in microblading, ombré brows, eyeliner tattoos, and lip blush.
What began as a personal mission has grown into a premier beauty studio and academy, bringing world-class artistry and education to the Bay Area. At Edge Brows, we believe beauty should feel effortless, confident, and timeless.

Diana Kang

Since 2014, Diana has been dedicated to enhancing natural beauty through both skincare and permanent makeup. After beginning her journey as an esthetician, she fell in love with the artistry of semi-permanent makeup and opened her own studio in San Francisco.
Her philosophy is simple: beauty should feel effortless, confident, and timeless. With every client, she uses advanced mapping methods and years of artistic experience to design brows, lips, and eyeliner that fit seamlessly with each unique face. The result? Natural enhancement that elevates — never overpowers.
With over 3,000 procedures performed, Diana brings not only artistry but also a wealth of experience and data. This allows her to understand patterns in skin, pigment retention, and healing — ensuring every design is precise, predictable, and uniquely suited to each client.

Valerie Co
Paramedical Tattoo Artist
A licensed and multi-certified paramedical tattoo and permanent-makeup artist in California, Valerie has always been drawn to the intersection of art, science, and healing. Her journey began over a decade ago in the dental field, where she honed her keen eye for detail, color, and anatomical proportions. When she discovered the transformative power of PMU-producing incredibly natural and life-changing results—she realized it perfectly combined her passions and set out to master the craft.
Since then, Valerie has trained with and been mentored by some of the most experienced tattoo artists across the country, continuously refining her skills through advanced education in PMU, paramedical tattooing, needle theory, color and ink science, and skin anatomy.
Valerie specializes in paramedical tattoos and is passionate about helping individuals reclaim confidence after surgical scars, stretch marks, vitiligo, mastectomies, top surgery areola restoration, or other skin irregularities. Her work is more than just tattooing—it is about restoration, empowerment, and self-acceptance.
